Nigerian international striker Tolu Arokodare said he never feels offended when he is ruled out of the Super Eagles squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) campaign. The 24-year-old forward remains realistic about the fierce competition for places in the team's attacking lineup.

According to a video shared by Official AGT, the former Genk striker revealed that he never feels bad when omitted from the national team, admitting that, if he were the coach, he would also withdraw players in his position given the current form of his rivals. "To be very honest, I kinda knew I wasn't going to get called up. Osimhen was in good form, Akor Adams was forming a good bond with him, and Onuachu was the top scorer in Turkey," Arokodare stated.

Arokodare, born in 2000, has earned just one senior cap for Nigeria since making his debut, and was not part of the 2025 AFCON qualifying campaign, recording zero appearances, goals, or assists in the competition.
