Nigerian Chess Master Tunde Onakoya Gifts Chessboard to Ademola Lookman

Nigerian professional chess player and coach Tunde Onakoya has presented a brand new chessboard to Atlético de Madrid winger Ademola Lookman following the team’s recent La Liga match against Espanyol.


Onakoya, who holds the Guinness World Record for the longest marathon chess game, shared the news on his official Twitter account. He explained that the gift was a token of appreciation extended to the former African Best Player following an invitation to watch the game, and in recognition of Lookman’s impressive goal-scoring style, an invitation to watch the game. 


The Guinness World Record holder expressed his admiration for the newly naturalized Nigeria international winger. "One chessboard delivered to Africa's best, Ademola Lookman. He invited me to watch the game and scored a brilliant header. I was beaming with pride," Onakoya stated.
