Nigerian defender Ola Aina has been officially honoured by the Premier League after reaching the milestone of 100 appearances at the highest level of English football. The 29-year-old received a commemorative plaque in recognition of his consistency and durability.

The Fulham defender Aina, who also represents his country, the Super Eagles, reached the 100-game milestone on February 6, 2026, according to Poojamedia. The achievement was formally commemorated by the league, reporting his consistency and longevity in one of the world's most demanding divisions.

With this feat, Aina becomes only the third Nigerian defender in Premier League history to hit the century mark. He now joins an exclusive list that includes Joseph Yobo, who made 228 appearances, and Celestine Babayaro, who recorded 179 games.

Aina’s journey to 100 appearances spans three different clubs. He made his debut at Chelsea, where he played three games, before adding 31 appearances during his time at Fulham. His current spell at Nottingham Forest has been the most prolific, contributing 66 appearances and counting to his total.
