Nigerian international Victor Osimhen has expressed his deep appreciation for how he found Turkish club Galatasaray while searching for a new team following his departure from Napoli. 

The striker, who made the move during the recent transfer window, opened up about the circumstances that led him to Istanbul, suggesting the move has been a positive turning point in his career after a challenging period with the Italian side.

Speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport, the former Napoli forward revealed the immense affection he has received from the Galatasaray supporters, insisting the connection is unlike anything he has experienced before. "I've been lucky to find Galatasaray on my way," Osimhen told the publication. "There's nothing similar to Gala, the love from the fans," he stated.

Following Galatasaray’s impressive performance against Juventus, Osimhen praised the team's remarkable effort after securing a 5-2 victory over the Italian giants. Reflecting on the win and the team's ambitions, he added, "We did great in Turkey, now it's time to show our quality in Europe."
