Barcelona secured their place in the Copa del Rey final with a commanding 3-0 victory over Atlético Madrid at the Spotify Camp Nou on Tuesday. The win, which overturned a first-leg deficit, saw the Catalan side progress with a 4-3 aggregate scoreline. Goals from Marc Bernal and a first-half penalty from Raphinha powered the home side past a resilient Atlético squad in the second leg of their semi-final tie.

According to reports, Brazilian winger Raphinha delivered a man-of-the-match performance, causing constant problems for the Atlético defense. Following the final whistle, Atlético Madrid manager Diego Simeone was seen speaking with the 29-year-old. "I appreciate Raphinha, you know. Fantastic player, Pedri and him are just incredible," Simeone said, offering high praise to his opponent despite the disappointing result for his team.

With the victory, Barcelona now await the winner of the other semi-final to determine their opponent in the final. Currently sitting atop the La Liga table with 64 points from 26 matches, Barcelona will turn their focus back to league play as they prepare to face Athletic Club away at San Mames this Saturday March 7, 2026.
