Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has opened up to the Nigerian government about what he needs to continue on the national team contract, presenting a list of conditions that prioritize both his welfare and functional operational capacity.

In a direct appeal to the authorities, the Franco-Malian tactician emphasized that specific infrastructure and financial assurances are necessary for him to effectively lead the three-time African champions through the remainder of his tenure.

According to Sahara Reporters, the former Mali international coach is demanding a steady supply of 24-hour electricity at the team’s camp and facilities, coupled with a minimum monthly salary of $130,000 to continue as the Nigerian coach until his contract ends. Chelle reportedly insists that reliable power is non-negotiable for proper technical analysis, player recovery, and overall team management. The substantial salary demand, significantly higher than his predecessors, reflects his valuation of his expertise and the high expectations surrounding the Super Eagles' upcoming competitions.
