Saka choosen ‘Oleku’ as His Favourite

Arsenal professional player Bukayo Saka revealed one of the most African songs he heard during his childhood in Nigeria. The England international shared that music played an important role in his early years.

Speaking during an interview with the Black Panther star Daniel Kaluuya, the English player told him that one of his favorite songs from his childhood was “Oleku,” a song by the Nigerian rapper Ice Prince released in 2010. “My favorite Nigerian song is Oleku, Banger,” he stated, as he smiled while reflecting on the popular track that dominated the Nigerian music scene at the time.

“Oleku,” released in 2010, became one of the biggest Afrobeats songs of its era and helped cement Ice Prince’s place in the industry.
