Brazilian football legend Ronaldinho has revealed the reasons why he finds it difficult to watch a full-time soccer match, admitting that a standard 90-minute game is often too much for him.
The former World Cup winner explained that his viewing is now primarily reserved for high-stakes encounters, as he struggles to maintain interest in regular fixtures.
According to a report from Transfer News Live, the former Barcelona forward stated that he prefers to watch only highlights. "I don't like watching football. I only like watching the best moments; 90 minutes is too much," Ronaldinho explained. He added that he makes exceptions for major events, saying, "Unless it's a Final or a derby, a match like that, but if it's not, I don't like it."
The 44-year-old cited his own deep understanding of the game as a reason for his selective viewing habits. "I get nervous. You start thinking: 'How could that guy miss that pass?'. And that's when I start getting angry," he said, revealing that watching lower-quality play can be a frustrating experience for someone of his exceptional skill level.
