Galatasaray football legend Hasan Şaş has suggested that the Nigerian international Victor Osimhen might leave the Turkish club for a different club in the near future.
The former midfielder shared his thoughts while discussing Galatasaray’s current situation and Osimhen’s growing profile in European football.
According to Şaş, the striker’s quality and consistent performances have continued to attract attention from top clubs outside Turkey, making his long-term stay at the Istanbul-based side uncertain despite his importance to the team.
During his interview on the sporON channel, he believes Victor Osimhen might leave the Galatasaray club even if he performs well in their next match. He explained that Galatasaray could struggle to keep hold of the Nigerian forward if strong offers arrive from major European teams. “Galatasaray might face challenges if other international clubs submit a beneficial offer,” he assumed, adding that financial strength and sporting ambitions of bigger leagues often influence such decisions beyond the club’s control.
Speaking against Osimhen’s upcoming performance in the Juventus game, Şaş further expressed doubts about the striker’s future at the club. “I don’t think Osimhen will remain at Galatasaray. Even if he plays well in the Juventus game and helps Galatasaray move on to the next stage, they’ll take him from there,” he added.
