Chelsea commentator @RodinSimi posted on his Twitter account about the difference between two prominent international players, sparking a debate about racial bias in football. In his post, Simi specifically contrasted the public perception and market treatment of Sweden international Alexander Isak with that of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen.
According to Rodinsimi's post, he describes that as an African player playing in Western international clubs they usually encounter disrespect because of being Black, adding that a minimum amount of salary is often offered to them. He argued that clubs treat African players as though they are being "held hostage" or receiving a favor, rather than being valued as top-tier assets. Simi pointed to Isak’s €144 million move to Newcastle United—a transfer fee he claims has been justified despite the striker's subsequent goal drought—as an example of leniency from the media and fans.

He contrasted this with the treatment of Osimhen, who joined Galatasaray on loan after a difficult summer transfer window, urging fans to support the Nigerian's decision to prioritize playing time over being undervalued by European clubs.
