Following the 2025 Afcon match against Senegal in the final round in Africa, the Northern hosted Afcon nation Morocco were spotted in a video jubilating with bananas, dancing, and rejoicing immediately after the end of the Afcon match.
The short clip, which circulated on Twitter, showed groups of supporters gathered on the streets, celebrating in high spirits despite their team’s loss in the decisive encounter.
Senegal came out on top, securing three points to qualify, and won the long competition with a strong, disciplined performance throughout the tournament. The Teranga Lions dominated key matches from the group stage to the final.
