Super Falcons star Chiamaka Nnadozie has cemented her status as Africa’s best, winning the CAF Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year award for an unprecedented third consecutive time at the 2025 CAF Awards in Rabat, Morocco. The 24-year-old’s triumph follows a year of stellar performances for both club and country, reinforcing her global profile as an elite shot-stopper.

This third successive CAF title adds to her collection of honours, including the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) Best Goalkeeper award. Nnadozie, who recently moved to Brighton & Hove Albion in the Women's Super League (WSL), triumphed over a formidable shortlist including Morocco's Khadija Er-Rmichi and South Africa's Andile Dlamini. She is the first African female goalkeeper to achieve this three-peat, highlighting her sustained excellence on the continent.

Nnadozie’s 2024 season was defined by exceptional consistency. Key to Nigeria’s record-extending 10th WAFCON title, she recorded four clean sheets in six matches and conceded only three goals throughout the tournament. For her former club, Paris FC, she played a vital role in their historic Coupe de France Féminine victory. Her outstanding overall performance was further recognized globally with a fourth-place ranking for the prestigious 2025 Women's Yashin Trophy.
