Spanish journalist Javier de Hoyos revealed on his Instagram account that Barcelona star Lamine Yamal, who recently won the Best Young Player award, has ended his relationship with his Argentine girlfriend, Nicki Nicole. The footballer and the Argentinian singer had made their relationship public on August 25, 2024.
According to the Spanish journalist, he shared details from a direct conversation with the player. Yamal stated, “We are not together anymore, it was not for any infidelity.” He emphasized that the separation was not a recent development and was completely unrelated to circulating rumors of alleged unfaithfulness. Hoyos further clarified that the pair had already parted ways before Yamal's well-known trip to Milan, confirming they were no longer a couple at that time.
In his own words, Yamal sought to directly address the speculation, asserting, “I've not been unfaithful or gotten with someone else.” He attributed the breakup to a simple decision to part ways, stating, “Everything that is coming out has nothing to do with us.” Supporting the news, both Yamal and Nicole have since removed all photos of each other from their respective Instagram accounts. The couple had previously attracted public attention due to their seven-year age gap, though Nicole had been a frequent attendee at Barcelona matches following their official announcement.
