Following a commanding 4-0 victory over Benin in the World Cup qualifiers, Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali took to social media to share a reflective message. Posting on his Instagram story, Nwabali wrote, “I never fake care for anyone. What I give from my heart chooses a good heart. People change so fast,” while tagging Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen.
The post followed Nwabali's strong performance at the Uyo Stadium, where he played the full 90 minutes and kept a clean sheet. This decisive win provided a significant boost for Nigeria's qualifying campaign.
Nwabali's recent form has been solid. Just days before the Benin match, he was also in goal for the full 90 minutes during a 2-1 victory against Lesotho. In that contest, he conceded one goal and made a crucial save to help secure the three points for the Super Eagles.
His contributions have been vital for the team, providing stability at the back as Nigeria continues its quest for World Cup qualification.
